Right, gather round, we've got news. This September, The Pig's Ear is celebrating the Sussex Harvest Moon, the moment each year the countryside gives up its very best before the nights draw in. Villages used to throw an actual party for this, we reckon that's a tradition worth reviving, pub style.
Our Harvest Moon menu is built entirely around Sussex, its farms, its growers, and the land the Gladwins call home. Expect Sussex Cow Curd Stracciatella with comice pear and lovage, our own Sussex Regenerative Beef with girolles and peppercorn butter, and a stone fruit melba to send you home happy, just a hint of what's on the menu.
Pull up a chair by the fire, order something good from the bar, and settle in. Available throughout September.
